Ritualistic alcohol consumption

As usual I fond myself seated in a dimly lit room senses being bombarded by 15 televisions displaying 9 different programs, music, idle conversation,  low air temp, and cute waitresses in short shorts and low cut blouses. When I enter I’m greeted with plastic smiles and forced waives and the name drop reserved for we mighty “regulars” (note: alcoholics). The waitresses know what you want to drink but ask anyway, “Guinness?”
So I throw her a curveball. “Southern Gold”, is my reply.
And so it begins…another evening at the local pub.
